Battery Management Systems monitor individual cells, system voltage, current, and temperature. When monitoring individual cells, the BMS balances voltages and regulates the current flow, and if the upper or lower voltage, current, or temperature limit is exceeded, the BMS temporarily disconnects the load or source. Eaton Battery Management Systems estimate the State of Health (SoH), State of Charge (SoC), State of Energy (SoE), and State of Power (SoP) in batteries.

MLVHV Multilayer Varistors

Eaton Electronics MLVHV Multilayer Varistors feature a compact size, 200V_DC to 385V_DC voltage range, and 140pF maximum capacitance. These varistors have a bidirectional design, a quick response time of <1ns, and meet the 61000-4-5 standard. The durable construction makes these varistors suitable for VAC applications, allowing designers to shrink the required footprint for surge protection in "primary" applications. Eaton Electronics MLVHV Multilayer Varistors are suitable for smart meters, VAC-driven LEDs, industrial equipment, commercial appliances, and power supplies.

MLV ESD Suppression Multilayer Varistors

Eaton MLV ESD Suppression Multilayer Varistors are surface-mount varistors that provide reliable protection for electronic circuits against electrostatic discharge (ESD), electrically fast transients (EFT), and transients resulting from inductive load switching. These varistors are ideal for the protection of I/O interfaces, as well as components and circuits sensitive to overvoltage and surge transients occurring on power supplies, control, and signal lines. The MLVs are offered in working voltages ranging from 5.5V_DC to 385V_DC and footprints ranging from 0201 to 4032.
