Electric Vehicle Charging Solutions

Littelfuse Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Solutions allow designers to select the ideal solution to ensure their EV charging units are functional and safe. Off-board EV charging stations operate in harsh environments subject to extreme heat and cold, rain, snow and lightning strikes. Littelfuse products protect against these hazards, minimising the risk of faults.

Transient Voltage Suppressor (TVS) Diodes

Littelfuse TVS (Transient Voltage Suppression) Diodes are a broad range of circuit protection products designed to protect electronic circuits against transients and overvoltage threats such as EFT (electrically fast transients) and ESD (electro-static discharge). Lightning strikes, inductive load switching, and ESD cause electrical over-stresses associated with the transmission on data lines and electronic circuits. Offered in a variety of surface mount and through-hole circuit board mounting formats, the TVS Diode portfolio includes high peak pulse current and peak pulse power options up to 20kA and 30kW, respectively. Littelfuse TVS Diodes are chosen for the fast response time (low clamping voltage), lower capacitance, and low leakage current. TVS Diodes are available in both unidirectional (unipolar) or bidirectional (bipolar) diodes circuit configurations. 

Automotive TVS Diodes

Littelfuse AEC-Q101 Qualified TVS Diodes protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients induced by load dump and other transient voltage events. These AEC-Q101 qualified devices offer peak pulse power dissipation ratings of 400W (SZ1SMA) to 3000W (TPSMD). Littelfuse AEC-Q101 Qualified TVS Diodes are ideal for applications such as DC power protection and ESD protection in automotive electronics such as electronic control units, sensors, and entertainment systems, as well as in portable devices that require high reliability. 

TPSMB/TPSMC/TPSMD Automotive SMT TVS Diodes

Littelfuse TPSMB / TPSMC / TPSMD Automotive SMT TVS Diodes offer 600W, 1500W, or 3000W peak pulse power capability at 10/1000μs waveform. These diodes are specially designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients induced by lightning and other transient voltage events. All of the series are halogen free, RoHS compliant, and AEC-Q101 qualified for high-reliability applications. The modules provide excellent clamping capability and low incremental surge resistance. Littelfuse TPSMB / TPSMC / TPSMD Automotive SMT TVS Diodes come in a low-profile, surface-mount package to optimize board space.

TPSMB-VR 600W Automotive SMT TVS Diodes

Littelfuse TPSMB-VR 600W Automotive SMT TVS Diodes offer 600W peak pulse power capability and are designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients induced by lightning and other transient voltage events. Littelfuse TPSMB-VR TVS Diodes are AEC-Q101 qualified and ideal for protecting I/O interfaces, VCC buses, and other vulnerable circuits used in automotive applications. The series offers 600W peak pulse power dissipation and 100A peak forward surge current.
