SAMA5D3 ARM® Cortex™-A5 eMPUs

Microchip SAMA5D3 Embedded Microprocessor Units (eMPUs) are based on the ARM® Cortex™-A5 processor and operate at up to 536MHz (850DMIPS) at under 200mW, delivering a high-performance, low-power platform for cost-sensitive industrial and consumer applications. These Microchip devices are ideal for high-precision computing and fast data processing.

32-bit Microprocessors

Microchip Technology 32-bit Microprocessors (MPUs) are a natural extension of the Microcontroller (MCU) portfolio and are ideal for use in applications that have outgrown the capabilities of an MCU, require large external memory, or where the use of a Linux Operating System (OS) is desired. Microchip 32-MPUs are based on the Arm®9 and Arm Cortex®-A5 CPUs. They support multiple memory types, including DDR2, DDR3, LPDDR2, LPDDR3, QSPI, and eMMC Flash.
