Noise Suppression: Power Circuits of Vehicles

GCM AEC-Q200 Automotive Capacitors

Murata GCM Series AEC-Q200 Automotive Capacitors are ideal for power trains and automobile safety devices such as the drive system control for engine ECU, air bags, and ABS. The GCM Series can be used at 125ºC and 150ºC and has a temperature cycle of 100 cycles or 1,000 cycles for AEC-Q200 conforming products. Murata GCM Series capacitors feature 6.3Vdc to 1kVdc rated voltage and 0.1pF to 47µF capacitance.

GRM/GCM/GRT MLCCs

Murata Electronics GRM/GCM/GRT Multi-Layer Ceramic Capacitors (MLCCs) provide a high dielectric constant in a smaller size with a higher capacitance value. The GRM series includes low-voltage, medium voltage, and high voltage ceramic capacitors. The GCM automotive ceramic capacitors offer higher resistance of solder-leaching due to the Ni-barrier termination and are applicable for reflow and flow soldering. The Murata GRT monolithic ceramic capacitors are designed for infotainment, feature Sn-plated external electrodes, and offer excellent solderability.

These Safety Products offer the high reliability that is provided by ceramics, which can endure severe operating conditions. GRM General Purpose Ceramic Capacitors

Murata GRM General Purpose Ceramic Capacitors achieve large capacity and a small size in a multilayer structure. The series offers high reliability with no polarity and is both RoHS and REACH compliant. Tin (Sn) plating is applied to the external electrodes with excellent solderability. Murata GRM General Purpose Ceramic Capacitors provide a capacitance range of 0.1pF to 330μF and a wide voltage range of 2.5VDC to 3150VDC. Applications include line filters and ringer detectors, diode-snubber circuits for switching power supplies, DC-DC converters, clamp snubber circuits, decoupling and smoothing circuits, as well as tuning circuits, oscillating circuits, and high-frequency filter circuits.

Multilayer Ceramic Capacitors

Murata Cap House ceramic capacitors are available in general-purpose capacitors, high-frequency, soft termination, LED application, metal terminal, and AEC-Q200 Epoxy capacitors. These ceramic capacitors support solutions for suppressing acoustic noise in battery lines of laptop computers.

GCM Multilayer Ceramic Capacitors

Murata GCM Multilayer Ceramic Capacitors are designed to provide excellent pulse responsibility and noise reduction due to low impedance at high frequencies. These capacitors operate at 2.5VDC to 630VDC and -55°C to +125°C temperature range. The series offers a capacitance range of 0.012µF to 47µF with 5%, 10%, or 20% tolerance. Murata GCM Multilayer Ceramic Capacitors are RoHS compliant and are available in paper or embossed tape-and-reel packaging for automatic placement.

GCM Automotive Ceramic Capacitors

Murata Electronics GCM Automotive Ceramic Capacitors provide a higher resistance of solder-leaching due to the Ni-barrier termination, making them suitable for flow and reflow soldering. These capacitors feature excellent pulse responsibility and noise reduction due to the low impedance at high frequency. The GCM series is available in paper or embossed tape-and-reel packaging for automatic placement. Murata Electronics GCM Automotive Ceramic Capacitors are automotive grade and ideal for automotive electronic equipment, including powertrains and safety equipment.
