L9961 Battery Management ICs

STMicroelectronics L9961 Battery Management ICs are part of a complete battery pack monitoring, balancing, and protection system for Li-Ion and Li-Polymer cells. These ICs incorporate high-precision ADCs to provide cell voltage, stack voltage, and temperature conversion via external NTC. The L9961 battery management ICs measure cell voltage in 3, 4, or 5-series configurations with over/undervoltage detection and balance undervoltage protections. These devices offer cyclically performed voltage monitoring functions with a programmable loop time. Also, the stack current is monitored via a high-accuracy CSA, continuously running and performing Coulomb counting.
