High-Speed Cable Assemblies

Samtec High-Speed Cable Assemblies include AcceleRate® slim body, ERCD 0.80mm Edge Rate®, HLCD high-speed hermaphroditic, HQCD 0.50mm Q Strip®, and SEAC SEARAY™ series. The AcceleRate cable assembly consists of the ARC6 slim cable body that mates together with the ARF6 series for a secure connection. The ERCD 0.80mm Edge Rate assemblies use Samtec's Eye Speed cable to provide a 14Gbps performance and feature a double-row system to 120 pins and a standard metal latching system. Eye Speed cable technology offers excellent signal integrity performance with an individual copper serve or braid shielding, 26AWG to 38AWG coax and twinax construction, and 20Ω, 50Ω, 85Ω, and 100Ω ratings.

Edge Rate® High-Speed Rugged High-Cycle Connectors

Samtec Edge Rate® High-speed Rugged High-Cycle Connectors are optimized for signal integrity performance. These connectors feature a smooth milled contact surface for mating instead of stamped contact that mates on a cut edge. This mating surface reduces the wear tracks on the contact and increases the durability and cycle life of the contact system. Samtec Edge Rate High-speed Rugged High-Cycle Connectors offer low insertion and withdrawal forces and allow the connectors to be zippered when unmating.

Flexible Stacking Connectors

Samtec Flex Stacking Board Connectors feature a large variety of board-to-board connectors with design flexibility. These Samtec board-to-board connector systems are available in a variety of pitches, densities, stack heights, orientations, and other standard or modified options, making it easy to find the right connector for any application. Flex-Stack options include one-piece, low profile pass-through, elevated, hermaphroditic, shrouded, coplanar, parallel, and perpendicular. Post heights are adjustable in increments of 0.005” (0.13mm).

ERM8 & ERF8 Edge Rate® Rugged High-Speed Strips

Samtec ERM8 and ERF8 Edge Rate® Rugged High-Speed Strips are 0.8mm pitch terminal and socket strips optimized for signal integrity performance. These strips feature a smooth broad milled contact surface for increased wear life. The ERM8 and ERF8 strips offer up to 200 positions with a stack height from 7mm to 16mm. These connectors are available in edge-mount and right-angle versions. The ERM8 rugged high-speed headers feature a hot-swap option and are designed for rugged micro-pitch applications. Samtec ERF8 rugged high-speed sockets improve "zippered" unmating with robust Edge Rate contacts. The ERM8 and ERF8 strips offer high-speed channel performance of up to 56Gbps.

Rugged SI System Connectors for Embedded Vision

Samtec Rugged SI System Connectors for Embedded Vision are available in a variety of pitches, including 0.5mm, 0.635mm, and 0.8mm. The number of positions ranges from 10 to 200, while the mounting angles include straight, right, and vertical. Samtec Rugged SI System Connectors for Embedded Vision offer stack heights as low as 5mm. The product portfolio features headers, sockets, hermaphroditic connectors, receptacles, and connectors. Termination styles include solder and solder pin.
