TAIYO YUDEN Automotive-Grade Products consist of AEC-Q200 qualified and TS-16949 factory-certified multilayer ceramic capacitors (MLCCs), inductors, and ferrite beads that withstand the harsh conditions required of automotive applications.  Featuring long lifetimes and low failure rates, these high-reliability components are also suitable for industrial equipment and medical equipment. TAIYO YUDEN uses its own raw materials and advanced technologies for greater control and flexibility on the assembly line.

Medium-High Voltage MLCCs

TAIYO YUDEN Medium-High Voltage MLCCs feature multilayer ceramic capacitors in four voltages: 100VDC, 250VDC, 630VDC, and 2kVDC. The capacitors are available with flexible or standard terminations and come in a variety of sizes: 0402, 0603, 0805, 1206, 1210, and 1812. These devices offer a capacitance range of 8pF to 4.7μF and an operating temperature range of -55°C to +85°C or +125°C. Typical applications include audio/visual equipment, automotive electronics, office equipment, home appliances, industrial equipment, medical devices, and more.

Automotive-Grade Multilayer Ceramic Capacitors

TAIYO YUDEN Automotive-Grade Multilayer Ceramic Capacitors (MLCCs) are AEC-Q200 qualified and available in a capacitance range of 0.2pF to 47μF and a voltage range of 4V to 630V. These TAIYO YUDEN MLCCs are ideal for the most modern designs in automotive body/chassis, powertrain, safety, and infotainment applications. By using nickel and copper for electrode materials and plating, solderability, and heat resistance characteristics are improved, resulting in greater reliability.

100V EIA 0402 AEC-Q200 MLCCs: 220pF up to 0.01µF

TAIYO YUDEN 100V EIA 0402 AEC-Q200 MLCCs include capacitance values from 220pF up to 0.01µF and feature longer lifetimes and lower failure rates to support applications requiring high reliability. These MLCCs feature a low ESR that allows superior noise absorption characteristics, and a small 0402 package size for component downsizing to reduce circuit board space consumption. By using Nickel and Copper for external electrode and plating structures, solderability and heat resistance characteristics are improved, resulting in greater reliability. Typical applications include engine electronic control units (ECU), electric power trains, transmission ECUs, airbags, anti-lock brake systems (ABS), power supply bypass capacitors, and smoothing capacitors.
