TAIYO YUDEN Low Profile MLCCs address three troublesome issues - board space, height constraints, and reducing overall module size. The low-profile MLCCs are less than 0.2mm in height and are all 0402 with very low ESR.

Multilayer Ceramic Capacitors

TAIYO YUDEN Multilayer Ceramic Capacitors are designed utilizing innovative materials and thinning sheet technologies. This material technology enables process control at the particle level, increasing the number of layers needed to realize higher capacity while reducing size. The thickness of each layer in the multilayer ceramic capacitor family is only 0.6μm at the slimmest point, and the number of layers reaches 1000 at maximum. These MLCCs are aimed at high-performance digital devices such as smartphones, tablet PCs, TVs, power supplies, general digital circuits, DC/DC converters, AEC-Q200-compliant MLCCs, and automotive applications.
