Sensors

Vishay offers a wide variety of sensors for applications across an expansive range of industries, including automotive, industrial, medical, and more. Sensors are devices used to measure temperature, position, distance, and proximity, and respond to light sources. In addition to automotive, industrial, and medical applications, Vishay Sensors are used for computing, consumer, telecommunications, military, and aerospace.

HV-IBSS-CANFD Battery Shunt Sensor

Vishay / Dale High Voltage Intelligent Battery Shunt Sensor with CANFD (HV-IBSS-CANFD) is an IBSS reference design based on the Vishay WSBE low-TCR shunt series and CDMV high-precision voltage divider with low tracing error. This design allows high accuracy current, high bandwidth, and voltage measurements over a wide range of temperatures without needing temperature compensation. The HV-IBSS-CANFD from Vishay / Dale is available with multiple shunt values to coordinate with the user’s measurement ranges. Typical applications include battery management systems, automation, computing, solar system installations, electric vehicle (EV) test environments, and networking, telecom, and base station power supplies.
