Connector Solutions

KYOCERA AVX Connector Solutions provide a variety of unique connectors for the industrial, consumer, medical, energy, transportation, telecommunication, and automotive markets. These KYOCERA AVX connectors are based on industry-proven contact technology to provide robust and performance-driven solutions to meet harsh application-specific requirements.

Poke-Home Connectors

KYOCERA AVX Poke-Home Connectors feature simple strip + poke wire insertion, reusable twist-and-pull wire extraction, and high wire capture strength. KYOCERA AVX Poke-Home Connectors come in vertical top entry, inverted thru board, single vertical top entry, horizontal, and low-profile horizontal options as well as STRIPT™ contacts and wire-to-wire connectors.

Poke Home Wire to Board/Board to Board Connectors

KYOCERA AVX Poke Home Wire to Board/Board to Board Connectors incorporate horizontal, vertical, and inverse-mounted connectors and contacts to offer designers simple and reliable wire-to-board solutions. The utilization of dual beam contact ensures optimal mechanical stability and wire retention. The straightforward process of wire stripping and insertion into the connector offers an efficient and economical alternative to manual soldering. This approach simplifies the assembly process and significantly reduces the associated costs. Typical applications include commercial lighting, industrial lighting, heavy equipment, irrigation systems, automation controls, power supply, alternative energy, E-Bikes, railways, and automated warehousing.

Single Vertical Top-Entry Poke-Home Connectors

KYOCERA AVX 58-9296 Single Vertical Top-Entry Poke-Home Connectors are designed to bridge the gap between inconsistent hand soldering of wires and costly 2-piece connector systems. These connectors are available in various positions and configurations while accepting 26AWG to 18AWG solid or stranded wires. The 58-9296 connectors feature a robust single beam contact that securely captures and retains the wire in a small package size. KYOCERA AVX 58-9296 Single Vertical Top-Entry Poke-Home Connectors are designed to support the high volume 18AWG wire applications used in power supplies, LED drivers, and industrial control products where PCB space is limited.

Wire-To-Board Connectors

KYOCERA AVX Wire-To-Board Connectors are an innovative contact solution continuing to drive new technology connectors for connecting discrete wires to a PCB. These cost-effective KYOCERA AVX solutions provide all of the performance and functionality of a full connector system, including low-profile, poke-home, and vertical top-entry models.

9296 Poke-Home Connectors & Contacts

KYOCERA AVX 9296 Poke-Home Connectors and Contacts are innovative, horizontal, vertical, and inverse mounted connectors that provide simple and reliable solutions when connecting wires onto a PCB. The high force dual-beam contact systems provide maximum retention and performance. These KYOCERA AVX connectors and contacts accept either solid or stranded wire ranging in size from 28AWG to 12AWG.
