STEVAL-VP319X1B Converter Evaluation Board

STMicroelectronics STEVAL-VP319X1B Converter Evaluation Board implements a 5V/3W Buck converter developed for general-purpose applications from 85V_AC to 265V_AC. If the size of the input bulk capacitors is increased, the evaluation board can supply the 3W in an extended range (40V_AC to 265V_AC). The reference design is built around the VIPERP319X, an offline high-voltage converter of the VIPERPlus family with 800V avalanche-rugged Power MOSFET, PWM current-mode control, fixed 30kHz switching frequency with jittering to satisfy electromagnetic disturbance standards, and burst mode for light load management.
