TE Connectivity's (TE) LUMAWISE LED Sockets and Holders provide a solderless termination of LED arrays, making it easier to integrate LEDs into designs. These sockets securely connect the LED to a luminaire without soldering. TE LUMAWISE LED Sockets and Holders directly attach to a PCB or heat sink using a few standard screws. These low-profile components use high-reflectivity polymeric housing materials and are ultrasonically welded. Typical applications include spotlights, track lights, recessed downlights, high bay lights, and more.

LUMAWISE Type NL2 LED Socket for NICHIA COB-L

TE Connectivity's (TE) LUMAWISE Type NL2 LED Socket for NICHIA COB-L is a quick termination connector system specially designed for use with the NICHIA COB-L LEDs. The one-piece connector assembly features TE's poke-in wire termination method for 22AWG to 18AWG solid, 20AWG to 18AWG pre-bonded, and 18AWG stranded wires. Locating features simplify the assembly process and properly position the LED into the socket. The integrated polarization feature enables a secure and lasting connection. When assembled, the Type NL2 socket provides a reliable connection and protects the ceramic LED edges. Designed specifically for chip-on-board LEDs from NICHIA, these sockets are suitable for applications such as retail lighting, commercial downlights, and high bay lighting. TE LED Socket for NICHIA COB-L LEDs is UL recognized to UL 1977 for use in UL 8750 applications and is RoHS compliant.
