Qwiic Connect System

SparkFun Qwiic Connect System is an ecosystem of I2C sensors, actuators, shields, and cables that make prototyping faster and less prone to error. The Qwiic Connect System uses the Inter-integrated Circuit (I2C) Protocol. I2C protocol is intended to allow multiple "slave" digital integrated circuits to communicate with one or more "master" chips with only two wires.

Qwiic Shields, Adapters, & Relays

SparkFun Qwiic Shields, Adapters, and Relays are Easy-to-use boards that integrate the Qwiic Connect System with other I2C-enabled ecosystems. Qwiic Shields are offered for the Arduino and Particle Photon, and the Qwiic HAT for Raspberry Pi adds four Qwiic connect ports to any Raspberry Pi that utilizes the standard 2x20 GPIO header. The Qwiic Adapter allows users to make virtually any I2C board into a Qwiic-enabled board.

Qwiic Shield for Arduino (DEV-14352)

SparkFun Qwiic Shield for Arduino (DEV-14352) provides a way to incorporate the Qwiic Connect System with an Arduino-based device. Connect the shield using the I2C bus on an Arduino to a series of SparkFun Qwiic connectors and the circuitry converts the 5V given to the 3.3V required by I2C boards in our Qwiic system. The Qwiic system allows for daisy chaining as long as devices are on different addresses. The Qwiic Shield has four Qwiic connection ports on the same I2C bus, and a large prototyping area to design and make unique circuits. The shield has a few 3-by-1 rails to help with prototyping, buses for ground, 5V, and 3.3V. Four mounting ports in the same design as the Qwiic sensors, allow Qwiic Breakout Boards to attach to the to the top of the shield.
