MC9S08SU 8-bit Microcontroller

NXP Semiconductors MC9S08SU 8-bit Microcontroller (MCU) offers a single-chip solution for low-end 4.5V to 18.0V motor control applications with a low BOM cost and tight integration. Based on the HSC08 core, the MC9S08SU MCU achieves high performance while maintaining low cost using the enhanced S08L central processor unit with 3-phase MOSFET pre-driver unit that supports 3 high-side PMOSes and 3 low-side NMOSes, amplifiers for current measurement, overcurrent protection (OCP), and overvoltage protection (OVP).

The MC9S08SU MCU is offered in a compact 4mm x 4mm QFN-24 package. The small size and reduced number of required components of the MC9S08SU makes it ideal for space-constrained applications, such as power tools, drones, and robotics.
