Syfer / Knowles new StackiCap™ Capacitors are true SMD stacked capacitors designed without a mounting frame and in smaller case sizes that allow higher voltage and capacitance.  The StackiCap SMD Capacitors also have a unique patent-pending construction and FlexiCap™ termination material that make this capacitor suitable for a wide range of high voltage applications where a large amount of capacitance is required. One of the major advantages of StackiCap capacitors is significant size reduction from 8060 to 2220 case, for example. Smaller case sizes make these capacitors very useful when board space is limited, or at a premium.
