Diodes Incorporated AL58047 16-Channel Constant-Current LED Driver
Diodes Inc. AL58047 16-Channel Constant-Current LED Driver is designed for static, dynamic, and matrix display applications. The driver features advanced double-latch technology and dual-edge clocking to enable faster data transmission, higher refresh rates, improved grayscale performance, and enhanced brightness uniformity. Operating from a 3.0V to 5.5V supply, the device provides 16 constant-current sink outputs rated up to 10V and up to 30mA per channel.
The Diodes Inc. AL58047 offers flexible brightness control via an external current-setting resistor and an integrated 6-bit global current-control register. High current accuracy, typical ±1.5% channel-to-channel matching, and ±1.5% device-to-device matching help ensure consistent LED brightness. Diagnostic and protection functions include open- and short-circuit detection, real-time fault monitoring, over-temperature protection, and fault memory. These capabilities make the device well-suited for indoor and outdoor LED displays, transportation signs, variable-message signs, and scoreboards.
