Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) MP1604 Synchronous Step-Down Converters
Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) MP1604 Synchronous Step-Down Converters are monolithic buck converters with integrated power MOSFETs that deliver up to 4A of continuous output current. These converters operate from a 2.4V to 5.5V input range and support output voltages as low as 0.4V. The MPS MP1604 features constant-on-time (COT) control for fast transient response, a low 4.5μA quiescent current, and a 1.25MHz switching frequency. Housed in an ultra-small SOT583 package, the devices include short-circuit protection, thermal shutdown, power-good indication, and soft-start functionality for reliable operation in portable devices, Solid-State Drive (SSD) modules, printers, PCs, and IP cameras.
