Synaptics Astra® SL2610 Embedded Processors
Synaptics Astra® SL2610 Embedded Processors are highly integrated AI-Native Linux® and Android™ System-on-Chip (SoCs) optimized for multimodal consumer, enterprise, and industrial IoT applications. These processors integrate a high-performance compute subsystem with Arm® Cortex®-A55 and Cortex®-M52 with Helium™ cores. The SL2610 processors feature transformer-capable NPUs with up to one TOPS of inference and 3D GPUs with OpenGL® and Vulkan® support. These processors deliver a unified experience through standards-based approaches, open software frameworks, full-featured AI toolkits, and market-ready evaluation systems. The SoC helps build a robust device edge, shielded from sophisticated software, side-channel, and physical attacks.
The SL2610 product line includes the SL2611, SL2613, SL2615, SL2617 and the SL2619 series. These processors' architecture allows dynamic support for new operators, future-proofing Edge AI IoT system design. The SL2610 processors offer the Torq™ Edge AI platform, featuring the Torq T1 NPU and the implementation of the RISC-V-based Coral NPU Machine Learning (ML) core. Typical applications include smart home appliances, wearables, smart retail, robotics, charging infrastructure, and industrial systems.
