Analog Devices Inc. ADMV8502 Digitally Tunable Band-Pass Filters

Analog Devices ADMV8502 Digitally Tunable Band-Pass Filters provide a digitally selectable frequency of operation. The filter center frequency (fCENTER) can be adjusted from 90MHz to 225MHz using an 8-bit value (256 states) incorporating a patented calibration technique. The typical 3dB bandwidth is 9%, and adjustability is ±2%. Insertion loss is typically 3.5dB, and the 20dB rejection is 17% away from fCENTER, ideally suited for minimizing system interferers.

The ADI ADMV8502 tunable filter can be used as a smaller alternative to large switched filter banks and discrete component-based tunable filters, and the ADMV8502 supplies a dynamically adjustable solution in advanced communications applications.
