Kinetic Technologies KTS1898 6ARMS VBUS ISINK Load Switch

Kinetic Technologies KTS1898 6A_RMS VBUS I_SINK Load Switch is designed for 165W current-sink input in 28V EPR systems. The Kinetic Technologies KTS1898 operates with a wide input range of 3V to 32V, tolerating up to 35VDC. The device offers ultra-fast overvoltage protection (OVP) set at 33V but adjustable externally. The KTS1898 switch's low on-resistance reduces heat and voltage drop and has reverse-current protection (RCP) acting as a 20mV "ideal diode" with fast recovery. Safety features include over-current protection (OCP), short-circuit protection (SCP) during and after soft-start, over-temperature protection (OTP), and an integrated transient voltage suppressor (TVS) meeting IEC industry standards of ±30kV ESD and ±100V surge ratings. The KTS1898 is compactly packaged in a "green" compliant 2.56mm x 2.56mm 25-bump Wafer-Level Chip-Scale Package (WLCSP).
