Littelfuse Class J Fuse Disconnect Switches

Littelfuse Class J Fuse Disconnect Switches combine multiple fuses and a switch into a single, compact device with front or side operation. These switches provide a simple way to manually open and close a circuit while protecting against short circuits and overcurrent. The double-break contact system breaks the circuit both upstream and downstream, allowing the switch to handle higher voltages and delivering a longer switch life. The modules offer fuse isolation to easily segregate a particular fuse on the circuit for repair or maintenance. Littelfuse Class J Fuse Disconnect Switches have a small footprint, 600V rated voltage, and a choice of 30A, 60A, 100A, or 200A with neutral, no neutral, or detachable neutral options. The lineup includes accessories such as handles, auxiliary contacts, terminal shrouds and lugs, phase barriers, and key-lock devices. Applications include industrial, HVAC/R, mining, solar, and battery energy storage systems (BESS).

Features

  • Fuse isolation makes it easy to segregate particular fuses on circuits for safe repair or maintenance
  • Double-break contact system breaks circuit upstream and downstream, enabling switch to handle higher voltages and provide longer switch life
  • Safe-to-touch transparent fuse covers provide easy visibility to fuses and cannot be opened in "ON" position for extra protection
  • Lockout-tagout - when device is in "OFF" position, padlock can be added to ensure equipment is properly shut off during maintenance or repair, preventing the release of hazardous energy
  • Horizontal (standard), vertical, and 45° mounting orientations
  • Small footprint saves space and provides design flexibility
  • Test position on handle permits control circuit auxiliary testing without switching on main contacts
  • Wide range of accessories available
  • Optional handles (direct handle with push-to-detach system or external handle with shaft) with front or side operations
    • Offers adaptability to system designs
    • No tools required for frontal direct handle for easy and quick installation
  • Plastic housing, silver- or tin-plated copper terminals
  • RoHS and REACH compliant
