Molex Automatic Cover SMT and Bulkhead Housings feature a special closing system that allows for automatic closure of the cover and guarantees the IP66 degree of protection even without fixing the cover with the lever (IP69K with lever).
The Automatic Cover System automatically protects the socket and electrical equipment to avoid damage. The cover closes due to the combination of mechanical and magnetic close mechanism that gives the firm closure of the cover.
The housings can be used with any type of inserts and couple to any hood with a single-lever locking system. Molex Automatic Cover SMT and Bulkhead Housings guarantee the highest safety for food and beverage, automotive, outdoor applications, and more.
