These high-efficiency regulators are highly suited to replace the LM78 linear regulators and are pin-out compatible with LM78XX linears. The high efficiency of RECOM's Innoline R-78DC/DC single output converters means no heat sinks to take up space and incur additional mounting costs for users. Features of R-78's include very low profiles, low ripple and noise, and short circuit, overload, and overtemperature protection.
