Saleae Logic Pro 8 USB Logic Analyzers
Saleae Logic Pro 8 USB Logic Analyzers offer 8 analog/digital inputs and maximum sample rates of 500MSPS for digital and 50MSPS for analog. The bandwidth is 100MHz square wave when sampling at 500MSPS for digital and 5MHz when sampling at 50MSPS for analog. These portable devices support a range of protocols, such as SPI, I2C, serial, BiSS-C, CAN, DMX-512, HD44780, HDLC, and Modbus. The Logic Pro 8 series features a 12-bit analog resolution and -10V to 10V analog input range in a compact package with 2.1" x 2.1" x 0.46" dimensions. Saleae Logic Pro 8 USB Logic Analyzers come equipped with test leads, test clips, a USB cable, and a carrying case. The Logic Pro 8 devices are designed for debugging, capturing signals, and decoding protocols.Features
- 8 digital inputs, 8 analog inputs (shared with digital channels)
- Maximum sample rates
- Digital: 500MSPS at 4 channels, 100MSPS at 8 channels (USB 3.0 required)
- Analog: 50MSPS at 3 channels, 12.5MSPS at 8 channels (USB 3.0 required)
- Bandwidth
- Digital: 100MHz square wave when sampling at 500MSPS
- Analog: 5MHz when sampling at 50MSPS
- Edge trigger or pulse width trigger
- Supported protocols include serial, SPI, I2C, Atmel SWI, BiSS-C, CAN, DMX-512, HD44780, HDLC, I2S, JTAG, LIN, MDIO, MIDI, Manchester, Modbus, 1-wire, PS/2 keyboard and mouse, SMBus, SWD, synchronous parallel, USB, and UNI/O
- Cross-platform Windows software, Mac and Linux support
- Capture buffer length
- Limited by installed memory and digital data density
- When recording analog at 50MSPS, 10s to 60s captures usually possible
- Without analog, buffer length depends on digital activity density
- 1MHz SPI: up to 10 minutes
- I2C: several hours
- 9600 baud serial: over 1 day
