Texas Instruments LV2862 PWM DC/DC Buck (Step-Down) Regulator
Texas Instruments LV2862 PWM DC/DC Buck (Step-Down) Regulator has a wide input range from 4V to 60V. This feature makes it suitable for various applications, from industrial to automotive, for power conditioning from an unregulated source. An ultra-low 1µA shutdown current can further prolong battery life. The operating frequency is fixed at 770kHz (X version) and 2.1MHz (Y version), allowing the use of small external components while still having low output ripple voltage. Texas Instruments LV2862 has soft start and compensation circuits implemented internally, allowing it to be used with minimized external components. The LV2862 is optimized for up to 600mA load currents and has a nominal feedback voltage of 0.765V. The device has built-in protection features such as a pulse-by-pulse current limit, thermal sensing, and shutdown due to excessive power dissipation. It is available in a low-profile SOT-6L package (2.9mm × 1.6mm × 0.85mm).
