Texas Instruments UCC21732/UCC21732-Q1 Gate Drivers
Texas Instruments UCC21732/UCC21732-Q1 Single-channel Isolated Gate Drivers are designed for SiC MOSFETs and IGBTs with up to 2121VDC operating voltage with advanced protection features, best-in-class dynamic performance and robustness. The UCC21732/UCC21732-Q1 features up to ±10A peak source and sink current.The UCC21732/UCC21732-Q1 includes state-of-art protection features, such as fast overcurrent and short circuit detection, shunt current sensing support, fault reporting, and active miller clamp. The device also offers input and output side power supply UVLO to optimize SiC and IGBT switching behavior and robustness.
The isolated analog to PWM sensor allows for easier temperature or voltage sensing, increasing the drivers’ versatility and simplifying the system design effort, size, and cost. The Texas Instruments UCC21732-Q1 devices are AEC-Q100 qualified for automotive applications.
