LiDAR solutions are capable of measuring the time-of-flight (ToF) of objects up to 200 m away with a precision of 1 cm to 3 cm, helping to support a growing number of use cases and applications, including automotive driver assistance systems (ADAS) and more. Complementing the comparators in a LiDAR receiver signal chain are high-speed transimpedance amplifiers (TIAs), such the MAX40662. The MAX40662 quad TIA boasts high gain, low noise of just 2.1 pA/√Hz, wide 440 MHz bandwidth, and fast recovery from overload.
