Texas Instruments ADS114S06/ADS114S08 16-Bit Delta-Sigma ADCs

Texas Instruments ADS114S06/ADS114S08 12 Channel Delta-Sigma ADC with PGA and Voltage Reference for Precision Sensor Measurement provides low-power consumption with features that reduce system cost and component count in small-signal sensor applications. Additionally, the digital filter has excellent low-latency conversion results and 50Hz or 60Hz rejection for noisy industrial environments. Gains ranging from 1 to 128 to amplify low-level signals for resistive bridge or thermocouple applications are delivered through a low-noise, programmable gain amplifier (PGA). RTD biasing is easy and accurate and is allowed by two programmable excitation current sources. The ADS114S06 offers 6 inputs and the ADS114S08 provides 12 inputs for excellent design flexibility. The ADS114S06/ADS114S08 integrates a low-drift, 2.5V reference that reduces the printed circuit board (PCB) area.
