Texas Instruments DRV8242-Q1 Automotive H-Bridge Driver
Texas Instruments DRV8242-Q1 Automotive H-Bridge Driver is an AEC-Q100-qualified fully integrated H-bridge driver for various automotive applications. This device offers voltage monitoring, load diagnostics, and protection features against over-current and overtemperature. The DRV8242-Q1 driver is a bidirectional full-bridge driver with PWM, or phase enable control, and is designed in a BiCMOS high-power process technology node. This automotive driver is ideal for automotive brushed DC motors, solenoids, door modules and seat modules, Body Control Modules (BCM), gas engine systems, and on-board chargers. The DRV8242-Q1 Driver is available in three variants hardwired interface HW (H) and two SPI interface variants SPI (P) and SPI (S). This driver integrates an N-channel H-bridge, charge pump regulator, high-side current sensing with regulation, current proportional output, and protection circuitry.
